PTFA & Parent Body
The Parent, Teacher and Friends Association is a registered charity which organises events throughout the year to raise money for the school. Money is spent in a wide variety of ways to improve the education of children at Allington School. The PTFA is not just a fund-raising body, it also brings parents, teachers and pupils together in social events.
All parents with children attending the school are automatically members of the association and no membership fee is charged.
We are very proud of our Parent Body! Our aim is to be a platform for parents to share ideas and issues with the school and the governors in order to continue to develop our positive relationship, as well as improving our children’s experiences at the school.
Should you have an agenda item you would like to be discussed at the Parent Body meetings, please email your class representative (contact details were sent home by letter). They are as follows:

We will be meeting termly and minutes will be kept of all meetings. In order to feedback to parents, we will publish the minutes of the meeting on Parentmail. If it has been decided that an issue or idea raised needs to be directed through a channel other than the Parent Body, the class representatives will inform the parent raising the item that that is the case.
