At Allington Primary School we are incredibly proud of our staff, our children and our combined successes which are underpinned by our schools values and beliefs - our pillars of success. These ‘pillars of success’ have led to us being regularly oversubscribed and the creation of a school where children love to learn and play.
Historically the school has always been judged at least ‘Good’ by Ofsted and in November 2008 we were thrilled to achieve ‘Outstanding’.
Our school has served the local community since 1970. On 1st September 1999 it became a Foundation School and is non-denominational, catering for children aged four to eleven years; since November 2003 we have been a two form entry school. In December 2012 we became an academy.
The staff and governors of the school aim to provide the children with an education that is broadly based and tailored to meet the children’s individual needs. We provide a caring and happy, positive atmosphere in which a child may fulfil his/her potential and grow in self-confidence and respect for the people and environment around them.
We are committed to the ideal of a partnership in education between home and school and, to this end, prospective parents are invited to visit the school and meet the staff and children.
