Allington
Primary School

prospective families 2022

Thank you for your interest in our lovely school! As I am sure you can imagine, we are still dealing with the impact of Covid 19 and while schools are open for all, we are not yet back to normal! We know that choosing your child's first school is a huge decision and this is helped by having visited lots of different settings before you have to commit those choices to paper. We are really pleased that this year, we can welcome parents in to see our school- but we have to do this in a way that keeps both you and our whole school community safe.

We will be holding an open morning on Saturday 13th November. To minimise contact, we will be restricting visitors to one adult per family. I will be offering a Zoom presentation on Thursday 11th November at 6:00pm to tell you a little about our school and what you can expect as a family when you join our school community- this will be open to all. If you are unable to join the Zoom meeting, a copy of the slides is saved below. The tours will then be an opportunity for you to visit the school site with our Year 6 tour guides and to have a look at some of the learning that children across the school have been doing. The tours will take place from 9:00am to 9:45am, 10:00am to 10:45am and then 11:00 am to 11:45am.

If you are interested in joining one of the tours, please contact the school office to book onto one. As we are so limited in numbers, we would ask that existing parents do not request a place on the tour as you already know lots about the school and the grounds themselves! Please note that these tours are specifically for parents whose children are due to start school in September 2022.

Children with Special Educational Needs

If you have a child with an Education Health Care Plan or you are currently going through the process, please contact our Inclusion Manager, Mrs Burton-Grange, on office@allington.kent.sch.uk. We will be able to arrange an opportunity for you to discuss the individual needs of your child and how we can best meet them.
